The highlight of the final stages of the rally has been camping at the foot of the Zorgol Khairkhan Mountian. In an area of otherwise flat steppe grasslands, the granite mountain surprisingly juts out of the landscape, forming an almost perfect pyramid of rock. A few brave souls scaled the steep mountain for an epic sunset view, while the others set up camp and enjoyed their last night in the wilderness, as herds of horses grazed close by. The final day of the rally will be a short push north to Ulaanbaatar, with the finish line and the delights of the city just about within reach now.
