Will Schofield grew up on a property in regional Australia, learning to ride a motorcycle at the tender age of 8. Rides around the farm expanded to trail riding in the local state forests and then rides even farther afield. His biggest adventure so far was a solo 16,000km off-road journey from Mongolia to Bulgaria, from Asia to Europe following the ancient tracks of the silk road. His most fulfilling motorcycle experience to date was creating and riding along on the inaugural 2023 MotoNomad Rally, witnessing his fellow riders discover Mongolia in a unique manner that few others will ever truly experience. Outside his day job as a Mining Engineer, you can find Will either riding a motorcycle, fixing a motorcycle or plotting his next adventure on one!
Anarbayar (Andy) Baigalmaa is our local legend on the ground in Mongolia. He’s a true all-rounder, overseeing our support drivers and other local contractors, acting as a fixer, translator, local expert and much more! Additionally, he’s a talented photographer, and almost every photo on this site was taken by Andy during past MotoNomad Rally’s. When he’s not assisting us with the event, he works for a well-known Mongolian media company. In his free time, Andy can be found escaping Ulaanbaatar for weekend getaways and photography trips, or enjoying quality time with his incredibly cute puppy Bunty.
