They have done it! After one last final unplanned adventure all the riders have now reached the new finish camp on the shores of Lake Khovsgol, surrounded by the Siberian Taiga forests that stretch from here up into Russia across the northern border. The sense of achievement has been evident on all the riders faces as they were each awarded a well-deserved finisher’s flag. The MotoNomad Rally has been a proper adventure that not unlike the local nomad people’s everyday lives, has required some common sense, basic know-how, and a hint of the Genghis Khan warrior spirit to conquer.
