We have reached our most westerly point of the rally and yet another amazing lake! Lake Khar is a very unique place in Mongolia, with a section of sand dunes cascading down the hillside and into the waters of the lake. This evening all the riders are staying in a yurt camp close to the water edge. After 3 nights of camping all the riders are keen for a shower and to not have to set up and pack down a tent. Tomorrow is a short day as riders are keen to get to the regional centre of Uliastai for a well-deserved mid-trip rest day!
