Day 2 ended with the most perfect camp spot on the shores of the salt water Sanigiyn Dalai Lake. A shorter day than yesterday was appreciated by the riders as they had more time to enjoy their surroundings and take in all the epic landscapes. The New Zealand crew have rustled up some wood and started a fire, ending the day with a night cap of “Chinngis Khan vodka” a local spirit with an after taste I would imagine would be not to dissimilar to jet fuel!
