Today the riders continued heading south and watched as the last of the green grasslands give way to the arid scorched earth of the Gobi Desert. The motorcycles have been holding up great, bar a few pesky flat tyres that were quickly fixed by the riders themselves. In the afternoon they chose to stay at a ger camp close to the flaming cliffs which are a red limestone formation that came to life as the sun was setting. The area is one of the most important paleontological sites in the world, where many significant discoveries of dinosaur fossils have been made over the years.
